teamLab, a 400-person technology and art collaborative, is opening a permanent exhibition space focusing on digital art. The museum, officially titled “MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM teamLab Borderless”, is a first-of-its-kind destination, as digital art is usually regulated to the Internet or as a special exhibition in existing museums. In what will surely be a major tourist draw, teamLab has ushered in a new future for this emerging art form.
